Presian Burroughs is the founder and director of Novel Creations, LLC. She is a creator, teacher, and writer.
As a New Testament scholar, Presian writes both fiction and nonfiction works that illuminate the writings of the New Testament and the lives of people living in the first-century CE. Her work portrays and reflects upon our human relationships with the rest of God’s creation in light of the Christian Scriptures, history, science, and agriculture.
Presian offers online courses and workshops to churches and small groups. She also teaches graduate courses on the New Testament and ecological approaches to interpreting it. Presian fell in love with Scripture & creation while growing up on a small farm in northeast Ohio. She studied biology and bible in undergrad. Several years later, she received Master of Divinity and Doctor of Theology degrees from Duke Divinity School.
